The National Hockey League has postponed its draft, scouting combine and annual awards ceremony due to the disruption of the coronavirus pandemic.

No new date for any of the above events was announced.

When the NHL suspended play earlier this month, the Florida Panthers were three points out of a playoff spot, Depending on what happens next, the Cats could find themselves in an expanded postseason or in the draft lottery.

When the draft will take place, and how the teams will evaluate potential prospects is now up in the air. The combine was originally scheduled for June 1-6 in Buffalo. The draft was slated to take place on June 26 and 27 at Bell Centre in Montreal.
