The New York Islanders got goals from Scott Mayfield, Andy Greene, Brock Nelson and Anthony Beauvillier in a 4-0 Game 7 win over the listless Philadelphia Flyers.

Barry Trotz turned to 1B goaltender Thomas Greiss in net and he stopped all 16 of the shots he faced. Greiss is the second goalie in Islanders history to win Game 7 with a shutout. Glenn Resch defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 1-0 in the 1975 NHL Quarterfinals.

The Islanders will face the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Conference Final starting on Monday. It will the third all-time meeting between the two clubs in the playoffs. Tampa Bay beat in five games in 2004 and 2016.
