Lundell scored on his only shot of the game, went 6 of 12 on faceoffs and posted a +1 rating while playing 19:28 for the Finns, who continue to lead Group B.
- The Tampa Bay Lightning edged the Carolina Hurricanes 2-1 on Barclay Goodrow’s goal with 7:21 left in regulation. Brayden Point scored a power-play goal to open the scoring in the second period and Jake Bean answered with a power-play goal for Carolina 1:41 into the third period. Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 37 shots for the defending champions.

The Colorado Avalanche laid waste to the visting Vegas Golden Knights by a 7-1 count at Ball Arena in Denver. Nathan MacKinnon and Gabriel Landeskog each had two goals and an assist for the Avalanche in the blowout win.
