Karpat remains on top of Group F with latest victory
Florida Panthers prospect Aleksi Heponiemi lit the lamp in Karpat Oulu’s 4-2 win over the Rouen Dragons in Friday action from the Champions Hockey League.

Heponiemi’s marker came 8:29 into the second period and tied the game at two. Assists on the even-strength goal went to Rasmus Kupari and Aleksi Mäkelä.
Karput remained on top of Group F and is now 3-0 in the tournament. Rouen is 0-3 and has little to no chance of advancing to the next round.
Heponiemi logged 12:55 time on ice and finished the game with three shots on goal and an even rating.
Karpat will face the Nurnberg Ice Tigers on home ice on Sunday.
