Looks as if forward Jimmy Hayes (above) has played his way onto Florida’s roster, at least for now, with a 4-shot, 3-hit effort Monday vs the Sens. Recognizing a bright spot, Panthers coach Gerard Gallant utilized Hayes between Jussi Jokinen and Aleksander Barkov in yesterday’s practice in hopes of sparking the first line. Will it hold until tomorrow’s matchup in Buffalo?
