Cut Luce: Florida Panthers dismiss director of player personnel

The Florida Panthers continued the reshuffle of their front office, firing director of player personnel Scott Luce.

Luce, who was reportedly let go after meeting with recently promoted general manager Tom Rowe on Sunday, joined the Panthers scouting staff on July 11, 2002 after working for three years with the Tampa Bay Lightning. Before becoming director of player personnel, he served as the club’s director of scouting.

According to the team’s official website, Luce was responsible for the Cats’ notable draft dray selections Aleksander Barkov, Jonathan Huberdeau, Erik Gudbranson and Dmitry Kulikov, among others.

LBC would like to thank Scott for his years of work with the Panthers and wish him all the best in the future.
