FAU Hockey team en route to ACHA National Tournament

The Florida Atlantic University Owls will be representing South Florida during this week's American Collegiate Hockey Association's National Tournament (Division 3) in Holland, Michigan. The tourney begins Wednesday, running through Saturday's championship game at 8:30 pm.

FAU's participation is notable on several fronts: head coach Peter Worrell was a legendary member of the Florida Panthers for five seasons, the club plays its home games at Saveology IcePlex in Coral Springs, and the school's main campus is in Boca Raton, all lending a truly local flavor to their appearance.
