Gameday 59: Florida Panthers at Nashville Predators

Graphic design: Francisco Oporta

The Florida Panthers (34-21-3) will play its final road game against a Western Conference foe when they face the Nashville Predators (20-29-7) tonight at Bridgestone Arena

The Panthers were beaten 2-1 by the Seattle Kraken at Amerant Bank Arena in their first game following the 4 Nations Face-Off break. Eetu Luostarinen was the only Cat who managed to beat Joey Daccord in the frustrating defeat that cost Florida first place in the Atlantic Division.

The Predators have played twice on home ice since the NHL resumed play. Thanks to a 31-save effort from Juuse Saros and goals from Justin Barron and former Panther Jonathan Marchessault, Nashville upset the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday. The second half of the back-to-back wasn’t so kind as they were thrashed 5-0 by the New Jersey Devils on Sunday.
