For the second week in a row, defenseman MacKenzie Weegar is tops among the Cats' CHL prospects.

MacKenzie Weegar had another impressive week for the Halifax Mooseheads. In four games, the young blueliner fired in two goals and added an assist while boosting his +/- rating to plus-nine on the season. Weegar is tied for sixth in scoring among QMJHL defensemen.

Alexander Delnov played in two games this week for the Seattle Thunderbirds. He tallied an assist and went plus-two. Delnov now has 15 points on the season.

Francis Beauvillier picked up an assist in four games for the struggling Shawinigan Cataractes. Beauvillier had his +/- rating drop to minus-15.

Christopher Clapperton scored a goal and added an assist in two games for the Armada. Clapperton is still enjoying a fine season, but hasn't been able to keep pace with the"Q"'s scoring leaders over the last two weeks.

Josh Brown continued his solid play on the blue line by going +1 while racking up 7 PIM in one game this week for the Oshawa Generals.

Victoria Royals center Steven Hodges remains sidelined with a lower body injury.
