Stanley Cup Gameday 3: Florida Panthers vs Edmonton Oilers

Brad Marchand’s second breakaway goal of the game, 8:05 into double overtime, lifted the Florida Panthers to a enormous 5-4 win over the Edmonton Oilers, and sent the Stanley Cup Final back to Sunrise knotted at a game apiece. Marchand scored earlier in the game shorthanded. Both of his goals were set up by Anton Lundell. Sam Bennett, Seth Jones and Dmitry Kulikov also scored for the Panthers, who upped their record on the road to 9-3. Evander Kane, Evan Bouchard, Leon Draisaitl and Corey Perry, who sent the game to overtime with 18 seconds left in regulation, lit the lamp for the Oilers. Connor McDavid is up to 31 postseason after finishing Game 2 with three assists. Sergei Bobrovsky made 42 saves to collect his league-high 13th win. Stuart Skinner stopped 37 of 42 shots faced for Edmonton. Florida has only played seven games at Amerant Bank Arena thus far, posting a 4-3 record.
