The Florida Panthers will look to claim its first-ever NHL title when they host the Edmonton Oilers in Game 5 of the 2024 Stanley Cup Final at Amerant Bank Arena.
While Saturday’s game at Rogers Arena was a complete disaster, the Panthers did accomplish an important mission objective, earning a split in Edmonton by winning Game 3 by a 4-3 count.
Sergei Bobrovksy was yanked 34:50 into Game 4, so he’ll be rested and ready to go tonight.
Edmonton’s offense got untracked in Game 4. Perhaps Florida’s is due for a breakout tonight. Matthew Tkachuk, Sam Reinhart, Carter Verhaeghe Aleksander Barkov, Sam Bennett, Anton Lundell and Gustav Forsling are a combined 4-for-59 shooting (6.7%) in the Final.
Ryan Lomberg, who hasn’t played since May 26, will tag in for Steven Lorentz.
The Stanley Cup will be in Sunrise tonight. We want it!
