Well, I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for the series between the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers to get started. Unfortunately, as I write this, we are about 104 hours from that happening… ouch!

The Panthers aren’t the only team on the organizational tree still playing hockey. After earning a split by winning Game 1 of the Kelly Cup Final, the Florida Everblades will host the Kansas City Mavericks for the next three games at Hertz Arena in Estero starting on Wednesday. The Mavericks evened the series with a 5-1 win on Saturday.
Once again, I forgot to email myself the full results of Round 3 of the LBC postseason predictions contest. ThackAttack won the round with 17 points and Habs Cats and I tied for second place with 16 points. Bill Kozloff’s 11-point mastery of the Panthers-Rangers series earned him fourth place. Like Bill, the rest of you picked Dallas. Fools! (just kidding). I will have all that for you tomorrow, I promise.
