With the NHL on a break for the next two days, let’s check in on the Panthers European-based, CHL and NCAA prospects.
Forwards
Linus Eriksson (2024 2/58) – Eriksson has two assists in 25 Swedish Hockey League games with Timrå IK to go along with a minus-six rating and 6 PIM. The 19-year-old will represent Sweden in the 2026 World Junior Championship. He is one of two Panthers prospects taking part in this year’s tournament.
Simon Zether (2024 4/129) – Zether has scored one goal and collected three assists in 23 SHL games for Rögle BK. That matches his career-high in points in the league, set during the 2023-24 campaign. He spent most of last season in the second-tier HockeyAllsvenskan.
Stepan Gorbunov (2024 6/169) – Gorbunov has played at three different levels in the Russian hockey pyramid this season. He scored one goal in 13 KHL games with Traktor Chelyabinsk. In 15 VHL games with Chelmet, he produced five goals and 12 points. And in 3 junior level MHL games with Belye Medvedi, he has collected three assists.
Stepan Zvyagin (2023 7/198) had an assist in Dinamo-Molodechno 2-1 victory over Brest in Christmas Eve action from the BETERA Extraleague in Belarus. Zvyagin is second on the team in scoring with 28 points (7G/21A) in 34 games played.
Mads Kongsbak Klyvø (2025 4/112) – Klyvø has yet to suit up this season due to injury, however, he is expected to play for Denmark at the World Junior Championship. He had 29 points in 42 J20 Nationelle games for Frölunda HC last season.
Shea Busch (2025 4/112) – Busch was leading the WHL in goals before suffering an upper-body injury in October that he has yet to return from. The injury has limited him to 12 games for the Everett Silvertips. During that short time, he amassed 13 goals and five assists to go along with a plus-13 rating and 10 PIM.
Shamar Moses (2025 5/129) – Moses has appeared in 28 of North Bay Battalion’s 33 games this season. His offensive numbers (6G/7A) are down compared to last season’s output. He has racked up 42 PIM and carries a minus-12 rating.
Arvid Drott (2025 6/192) – The 18-year-old Drott has scored a team-leading ten goals and added seven assists in 16 games for Djurgårdens IF’s junior squad in the J20 Nationelle. He sports a plus-eight rating and has shown a physical side, amassing 30 PIM.
Defensemen
Matvei Shuravin (2024 3/97) – Shuravin has played in 12 KHL games with CSKA Moscow and has one assist, a minus-two rating and 4 PIM to his credit. He also appeared in 2 VHL games with HC Zvezda Moscow.
Albert WIkman (2023 4/127) – Wikman has appeared in 23 SHL games for Färjestad BK and notched his first goal (and only point) in Sweden’s top league. He sports a minus-four rating and has four penalty minutes.
Luke Coughlin (2023 6/191) – After four QMJHL seasons with the Rimouski Oceanic, Coughlin is now playing NCAA hockey at the University of Maine. He has two assists in nine games played this season.
Vladislav Lukashevich (2021 4/120) – Transferring from Michigan State to Miami University is paying off for Lukashevich. The 22-year-old has two goals and 12 assists in 18 games for the RedHawks.
Brendan Dunphy (2025 7/197) – Dunphy has produced a goal and three assists in 16 NCAA games for the University of Connecticut Huskies. He is plus-two and has accumulated 6 PIM.
Goalies
Olof Glifford (2023 5/159) – Glifford has appeared in 15 games on loan to HockeyAllsvenskan’s IK Oskarshamn. The 20 year-old is 7-8 with a .903 save percentage, 2.45 goals against average and two shutouts. In 3 SHL games with HV71, Glifford is 1-2 with a .873 save percentage and 3.04 goals against average.
Denis Gabdrakhmanov (2024 7/201) – Gabdrakhmanov is 7-4-5 in 19 appearances with Rubin Tyumen in Russia’s VHL. The 20-year-old has a tidy .915 save percentage, 2.32 goals against average and one shutout.
Tyler Muszelik (2022 6/189) – Muszelik has is 9-3-3 in 15 games with the UConn Huskies during his second season in the NCAA. He sports a sparkling .931 save percentage and miserly 2.10 goals against average.
Yegor Midlak (2025 7/224) -The 18-year-old Midlak is 2-3 in 9 MHL appearances with MHK Spartak-MAH Moskva. While his goals against average is on the high side at 3.59, his save percentage is a solid .910.
