Prospects will scrimmage today in Coral Springs
The Florida Panthers will wrap up development camp with a scrimmage between the Red and White teams this morning at 9 .am. at Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs. The scrimmage is free and open to the public, so head over there if your schedule permits.
ScrNHL Free Agency opens tomorrow morning. The Panthers haven’t really been linked to any players other than Jaromir Jagr, who will likely have to take a pay cut to re-up with the team. According to the 45-year-old, his phone hasn’t been ringing.

Pending UFAs Jordan Weal and Kris Versteeg re-signed with Philadelphia and Calgary yesterday, further weakening an already tepid pool of available forwards. Weal might have been a good get for the Cats, a la Jonathan Marchessault last offseason, had he hit the open market.
Who should the Panthers #1 free agent target be?
Alexander Radulov | 29 |
Justin Williams | 13 |
Patrick Marleau | 10 |
Tomas Vanek | 10 |
Radim Vrbata | 3 |
Scott Hartnell | 5 |
Other | 13 |
