Panthers will open season at home on October 13 versus Devils

We now know Florida's first 2016-17 <strike>victim</strike> opponent at the BB&T

Mark your calendars, folks. The Florida Panthers will begin the kick off its 2016-17 schedule on Thursday, October 13, against the New Jersey Devils. The Devils will be Florida's final preseason opponent when the two teams tussle on the 8th at West Point.

The full NHL schedule for next season will be released tomorrow.
