Jokinen collects a helper as Finland wins its fifth straight game.
The 2015 IIHF World Championship rolled on with four opening round games yesterday. Just one of the tilts involved members of the Florida Panthers.
Finland 3, Belarus 2 (SO): Joonas Donskoi bagged the winning shootout goal in Finland's tough 3-2 victory over Belarus. Florida's Jussi Jokinen drew the secondary helper on Donskoi's goal midway through the third period which evened the game up at one. Jokinen finished the game with one shot on goal and an even rating in 17:14 TOI. He also scored in the skills competition. Aleksander Barkov fired four shots on goal and finished with an even rating in 17:31 TOI. Barkov took a interference minor in the third period. For more click here
