Action resumed this past week in Europe’s pro leagues. Jack Skille stayed hot in Norway while Marcel Goc kept up his consistent play in Germany and Filip Kuba began his stint with Czech Extraliga outfit Vitkovice Steel. Dmitry Kulikov has not suited up in the last three games for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl due to an unspecified injury.

  • Marcel Goc (pictured above) returned after a three game absence and picked up two assists in three games this week for Adler Mannheim. Goc was +1 in each of the first two games and finished with an even rating in the third. Adler has won three straight and now leads the D.E.L.
  • Dmitry Kulikov played in one game with this week, finishing with a +1 rating but has missed the last three outings for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl. Hopefully, the injury he has suffered is not serious. He is still listed on the roster which is a good sign.
  • Jack Skille scored one goal and added three assists in two games for Rosenborg IHK Elite. Skille was +4 in the two games to raise his rating to +1 for the season. Skille sat out Rosenborg’s 7-1 loss to Lillehammer on Sunday.
  • Filip Kuba provided strong defensive play this week in his first four games for Vitkovice Steel. Kuba went pointless and posted an even rating. Vitkovice won three of the four games including a 4-1 victory at home over Kometa Brno yesterday to move up to eighth place in the standings.
