Europe’s pro leagues have gone on a roughly ten day break period so my game recaps will not be seen again until the middle of next week unless a new CBA is agreed upon (wouldn’t that be nice!). Tomas Kopecky has returned home with an injury leaving only three Panther veterans active in Europe. The break in action comes at an inopportune time for Jack Skille who was really heating up in Norway.

  • Marcel Goc (pictured above) missed all three Adler Mannheim games this week. No official word on why. Adler returns to action on November 16th against ERC Ingolstadt, hopefully Goc will be in the lineup (or better yet the lockout will be over).
  • Dmitry Kulikov continues to play well defensively for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, posting an even rating in the club’s two victories this week. Lokomotiv returns to action on November 14th against Slovan Bratislava.
  • Jack Skille scored two goals and added an assist in Rosenborg IHK Elite’s upset win over GET-ligaen top dog Valerenga and then picked up his fifth goal in a loss to Stavanger. Rosenborg returns to action on November 13th in a key matchup against 9th place Stjernen.
  • Tomas Kopecky has left Dukla Trencin with an apparent shoulder injury. He went pointless in the one game he played this week.
