Florida Panthers’ Kamil Kreps: dude needs a nickname

Article_13866_2_medium

Yeah, his teammates prolly have something cute to call him, like “the Krepster”, or during a particularly poor turnover, “Holy hot Kreps!”.

We at The Box are looking to go a bit beyond such trivial on-ice formalities, and give Panther fans – known outside the tri-county area as “unique” – an opportunity to label a Florida hockey player with a tag all our own. Kinda like when Nick Boynton became “The Beach”.

With any luck, this will continue and become a year-round dealio. Can’t wait to tackle Tanner Glass’ name.

For now, we’ll focus on Panthers’ forward Kamil Kreps. Whatever may cross your mind…and we do mean WHATEVER…will be considered. Western civilization will rule in the end, but give it a shot.

Keep in mind: he’s a good kid who’s worked his heart out to be a pro hockey player. End of disclaimer.

It’s your turn, Cat fans. You’ve seen him, you love him (at least for a couple of minutes last night). The guy is lacking a nickname. Let’s have your suggestion. Or suggestions. Just get it in.

KREPS NEEDS A NICKNAME. WHAT SHALL IT BE?

So far, we’ve got Kreppy, Krepper, The Kamilator, and Krept Keeper.

You can top this, peeps. Vote or submit. Looking at a three-day window, and the results will be voted upon by everyone on Friday.

Send submissions – as often as you wish – to pantherslitterbox@yahoo.com
