Friday Caterwaul: Florida Panthers Open Forum

Oh, how the time flies… The Florida Panthers will unveil their 25th Anniversary Logo on this morning at Esplanade Park (400 SW 2nd St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312) in Ft. Lauderdale at 10 a.m. The unveil will serve as a formal beginning to the south Florida club’s 25th Anniversary season.

Panthers Ownership John Viola, Panthers President & CEO Matt Caldwell and Panthers Vice President of Broadcasting and Panthers Alumni Randy Moller will take part in the unveil ceremony.

Additionally, fans are encouraged to come to SW 2nd Street (Himmarshee) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. to celebrate the new 25th anniversary logo with a special happy hour event. Calder Cup

Congratulations to the Toronto Marlies, who routed the Texas Stars 6-1 in Game 7 to capture the AHL’s Calder Cup. Andreas Johnsson and Mason Marchment each scored twice for the Marlies. The 23-year-old Johnsson  won the Jack A. Butterfield Trophy as the most valuable player of the Calder Cup Playoffs. (More)
