Florida Panthers forward Brad Marchand confirmed on social media that he recently underwent a procedure that will keep him off the ice for the near future. Marchand was supposed to play in former teammate Zdeno Chara’s charity game in Slovakia on Friday, but confirmed he would not be able to take part. While Marchand may not be ready for the start of the 2026-27 season, the Panthers have the depth to absorb his temporary absence.
