Hobey Baker-winner Cole Caufield notched his fourth goal of the series, Shea Weber also scored, and Carey Price made 37 saves for the Canadiens.
Former Florida Panthers forward Reilly Smith and Alec Martinez scored the goals for the Golden Knights, who got a 29-save effort from Lehner.
