The Florida Panthers will enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of Suomi as they prepare to play the Dallas Stars twice (Friday and Saturday) at Nokia Arena in Tampere for the NHL Global Series Finland.
While the Cats were busy playing tourists, they got a couple of good results on the NHL scoreboard last night, as far as the Atlantic Division goes.
The Boston Bruins were blanked 2-0 by the Philadelphia Flyers at TD Garden and the Montreal Canadiens were routed were routed on home ice by the Seattle Kraken. Former Panther Brandon Montour scored a natural hat trick and added an an assist in the blowout. I have Montour on my fantasy squad, so that’s noteworthy (for me).
The Ottawa Senators pummeled the St. Louis Blues by an 8-1 count to reach ten points and fourth place in the division, that Florida leads with 15 points. Tampa Bay is second place with 12 points and Toronto is third with 11.
