Braden Holtby made 37 stops, including a stunning paddle save on Alex Tuch late in the the third period, to help the visiting Washington Capitals edge the Vegas Golden Knights 3-2 at a raucous T-Mobile Arena in Sin City, evening the Stanley Cup final at a game apiece.
Lars Eller, Alex Ovechkin and Brooks Orpik scored for the Capitals, while James Neal and Shea Theodore countered for the Golden Knights.
Orpik ‘s tally, which turned out to be the game-winner, was his first goal since February 26, 2016 midway through the second period to give Washington a 3-1 lead.

Please be advised the Florida Panthers have launched the 2018-19 season application for the Florida Panthers Foundation Community Champions Grant Program presented by Moss & Associates, LLC and Moss Foundation. The application will be open from May 30 to July 31. All organizations who are interested in applying must be a 501(c)(3) organization or government agency serving in the South Florida area.
The Florida Panthers Foundation Community Champions Grant Program allows charitable organizations throughout the region to request financial support for programs and initiatives that are benefiting the community. Throughout the season at each home Panthers game, the Foundation recognizes and awards one grant for up to $25,000 to a local organization.
During the first two years of the program, the Florida Panthers Foundation has awarded $2 million to local organizations.
