Golden Knights even series with Jets
Jonathan Marchessault scored twice to lead the visiting Vegas Golden Knights to a 3-1 win over the Winnipeg Jets to tie the Western Conference final at one game apiece. Tomas Tatar opened the scoring before Marchessault added on to put Vegas up by two in the first period. Kyle Connor halved the deficit with a power-play goal in the third, but Marchessault provided the dagger 1:28 later. Both of Marchessault’s goals were set up by Reilly Smith.
