Florida Panthers Prospects Camp Opens On September 4th

The Florida Panthers will welcome 28 prospects to rookie camp on Wednesday, September 4th. The players will spend the first day at the BB&T Center for physical and medical testing. The next day, the players will hit the ice for practice at the Saveology.com Iceplex in Coral Springs. You can see the full roster of Florida’s prospects by clicking here.

The players will take part in a four-team round robin tournament along with prospects from the Boston Bruins, Nashville Predators and Tampa Bay Lightning. The tournament runs from September 6th to the 8th and will be held at Saveology.com Iceplex. Admission to the games will be free but you must pre-register for tickets at FloridaPanthers.com/trainingcamp.

Recent high draft picks Jonathan Drouin and Seth Jones will be on hand for Tampa Bay and Nashville respectively. Hopefully our own elite prospect, Aleksander Barkov, will be healthy enough to show his mettle as well.The Panthers will be begin the tournament with a game against the Predators.

Friday, Sept. 6 – Tampa Bay vs. Boston at 2 pm
Friday, Sept. 6 – Nashville vs. Florida at 6 pm
Saturday, Sept. 7 – Nashville vs. Tampa Bay at 12 pm
Saturday, Sept. 7 – Boston vs. Florida at 4
pm
Sunday, Sept. 8 – Boston vs. Nashville at 12
pm.
Sunday, Sept. 8 – Tampa Bay vs. Florida at 4
