Florida Panthers Prospect Roundup: October 1, 2012
Rampage announced their training camp roster, adding a former player to help the kids, top-three NHL selection Huberdeau takes a hit, and all of the Panthers' prospects in this week's Roundup.
- Tyson Strachan has signed a PTO deal with the Rampage. He will report to San Antonio for camp,
but cannot play in the AHL because of his one-way NHL contract with the Panthers.The NHL has made an exception for players who finished the season last year on the AHL roster or clear day roster. These players are allowed to sign to an AHL contract, and Strachan is expected to sign an AHL deal before the first regular season game. Stick tap to Dan Weiss for the info.
