San Antonio Rampage

  • San Antonio sits 14th in the American League’s Western Conference with 61 points (27-29-7). The silver and black went 0-3 with losses to Texas, Oklahoma City, and Rochester. The Rampage are only 6 points out of the eighth spot but have dropped 4 straight.
  • San Antonio has signed D George Hughes to an ATO; he led the NCAA in points by defensemen with 37 (5G/32A) at St. Lawrence University of the ECAC.
  • Next game is Thursday against the Grand Rapids Griffins.

Cincinnati Cyclones

  • The Cyclones are currently 2nd in the ECHL’s Eastern Conference with a 41-21-8 record (90 points). The only victory of the week was Friday against the Florida Everblades, with the Everblades getting revenge the next night. Cincinnati also lost to Orlando and Gwinnett.
  • Cincinnati has cliched the North Division; their last such title was came during the 2008-09 campaign. This marks the Cyclones’ sixth playoff appearance in seven seasons.
  • Next game is Friday against the Evansville Icemen.
