Report: Florida Panthers Prospect Scott Timmins Arrested In San Antonio For Breaking And Entering Into Stranger’s Home

From Karen Grace/KENS5.com…

[Scott] Timmins is accused of breaking into Benjamin Garza’s home on Ridgecrest. Garza wasn’t home at the time, but his wife and three kids woke up to the stranger on their couch.

The police report states that when Garza’s wife found Timmins sitting on her couch, she asked him who he was, to which he responded, “Don’t worry about that.”

“He was yelling, ‘What are you doing in my house,'” said Garza. “My wife said, ‘You need to get the hell out of here,'” added Garza. She was able to escape through a back door with her kids.

The Rampage – nor Panthers – have not as yet responded to the situation. More rather stunning weirdness from the original article here (and video below). Never a dull moment within this organization.

Timmins, 23, was selected by Florida in the 6th round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. In 50 games with the Rampage in 2012-13, he’s collected 16 points (9G), a minus-1, and 40 penalty minutes.
