The Florida Panthers will open the 2025-26 season on October 7, with a three-game homestand that sees the two-time defending Stanley Cup champions hosting the Chicago Blackhawks, Philadelphia Flyers and Ottawa Senators before they embark on a five-road trip that culminates in Brad Marchand’s return to Boston on October 21.
Florida’s slate of games is home-heavy during the first half of the campaign. They will play 11 out of 12 at Amerant Bank Arena from November 13 to December 7, which includes a visit from the Edmonton Oilers on November 22, and then they have a run of 8 out of 9 games in Sunrise from December 17 to January 4.
The Cats will be on the road for 26 of their final 41 games. They will head out on a season-long six-game road trip that sees stops in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Buffalo, Carolina and Washington starting on January 6 and ending on January 17. That’s followed by a home game against San Jose and then three more on the road against Winnipeg, Minnesota and Chicago.
As the season winds down, the Panthers will hit the road in early April for games in Pittsburgh (a rare back-to-back), Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto before finishing out with home games against the New York Rangers and the Detroit Red Wings. The season finale against the Red Wings will be on April 15.
Florida will play 13 back-to-back with eight of them coming on the road.
The four-game holiday homestand will open with the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday, December 27. Then its Capitals and Canadiens for a back-to-back on December 29 and December 30 before the Cats play host to the 2026 Discover NHL Winter Classic® at loanDepot park in Miami on January 2 against the New York Rangers at 8 p.m.
The break for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy will be from February 6 to February 25.
With the preponderance of road games in the second half of the season, the Panthers are going to want to get off to fast start and bank as many points as possible. That layout is definitely going to be a grind as the team is gearing up for another playoff run.
