Florida Panthers release training camp roster

The Florida Panthers will open training camp for its 31st season in the NHL on Thursday at Baptist Health IcePlex in Fort Lauderdale.

The 54-man roster will consist of 31 forwards, 16 defensemen and seven goaltenders.

Luff, Leonard and McDonough are in camp on professional tryout agreements.

The Cats will host Training Camp Fan Fest on Saturday, September 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On Sunday, the team will play a pair of preseason games against the Nashville Predators at Amerant Bank Arena.
