Panthers announce 2024 Rookie Showcase roster

The Florida Panthers have announced its 29-man roster for the 2024 NHL Rookie Showcase at Ford Ice Center Bellevue in Nashville, Tennessee. The event will run from September 13 to September 16 and will feature the host Nashville Predators, Carolina Hurricanes and Tampa Bay as well as the Kiddie Cats.

Out of the players that aren’t Panthers property Nguyen, Macias, Gaber, Zabaneh, Pherson, Anania. Spunar and Matecha attended development camp in Fort Lauderdale back in July.

Jakub Kos scored a goal and added an assist in Kometa Brno’s 5-0 exhibition victory against Slovak side Slovan Bratislava. Kos was selected in the sixth round (184th overall) of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. He produced two goals and 11 points in 34 Czech Extraliga games with Brno last season.

Matvei Shuravin played on the first defense pairing with Maxim Venskel and collected an assist in Krasnaya Armiya’s 4-3 overtime win over Krylya Sovetov in action from Russia’s MHL. Shuravin drew the secondary helper on Nikita Ovcharov’s second period goal. The 18-year-old was chosen in the third round (97th overall) of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. He has two assists in two games this season.
