The Cats played their final game of the 2010-11 season on April 9th – can it really have been six months? – in what ultimately emerged as an offensively-challenged but Who-Cares-It’s-The-Playoff-Bound-Caps 1-0 Florida victory at the BankAtlantic Center. Featuring the typical elan of this matchup’s Alex Ovechkins and David Booths there’s curiously little to read into on the scoresheet as even the penalty count (3 total) describes a sleepwalking affair.
What is anything but a snooze is taking a peek at who was in uniform for the Panthers that evening; more accurately, who among that group won’t be wearing the now gold-piping-free road whites on Saturday from Uniondale, New York. Of the 19 players on Florida’s season finale roster, a wild and wacky ten have moved on; several within the organization:
