Saturday Caterwaul: Florida Panthers Offseason Open Forum

Mr. Anderson…

Josh Anderson scored his second goal 12:53 into overtime, and the Montreal Canadiens took the lead in the Stanley Cup Semifinals with a shocking 3-2 comeback win over the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 3 at Bell Centre.

Anderson took advantage of a colossal Marc-Andre Fleury flub with 1:55 remaining in regulation to send the game to a fourth period, where he won it off a feed from Paul Bryon. The Golden Knights had outshot Montreal 39-17 when Fleury gagged up the puck to ice-cold forward, who was alone in front to score into a wide-open net for his first goal in 13 games.

Carey Price was stellar again, finishing with 43 saves.

Nicolas Roy and Alex Pietrangelo scored for Vegas, while rookie Cole Caufield scored the other Montreal goal.
