Nearly a week after sending him back to Saint John, the Florida Panthers have signed 2011 first-round selection Jonathan Huberdeau to an entry level contract. I ranked Huberdeau as my number one prospect heading into the season, and with another full year in the QMJHL, he’ll likely be number one heading into next season as well.
Huberdeau played in five preseason games with the Panthers, finishing tied for the team lead in points (4) and first in goals scored (3).
