Florida Panthers prospect Linus Eriksson did not play in Sweden’s 3-1 loss to Finland in the final day of action at the World Junior Summer Showcase in Minneapolis.

Eriksson played the first three games of the showcase, all wins against various iterations of Team USA, and produced an empty-net goal and an assist.

The Toronto Maple Leafs and Nick Robertson settled their contract dispute ahead of Sunday’s scheduled arbitration hearing, agreeing on a new one-year deal that will pay the forward $1.825 million for the upcoming 2025-26 season. Last season, Robertson finished with a career-best 15 goals (and 22 points) in 69 games for the Maple Leafs.

The Los Angeles Kings and forward Alex Laferriere have agreed to a new three-year contract worth $12.3 million. Over the course of 77 regular season games in 2024-25, the New Jersey native put up 19 goals and 42 points. The 23-year-old had three assists in the Kings first-round playoff loss to the Edmonton Oilers.

Tim Washe signed a two-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks worth $1.63 million. The contract is a two-way for 2025-26, but becomes one-way in 2026-27. Washe had 16 goals and 38 points in 42 games with Western Michigan University in 2024-25. He also played in two games with the Ducks, burning off his one-year, NHL entry-level deal.
