Jackson Blake scored his second goal of the game at 5:31 of overtime, and the Carolina Hurricanes nipped the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2 to complete the sweep at Xfinity Mobile Arena on Saturday. Blake also drew an assist on Logan Stankoven’s marker, Taylor Hall had three helpers, and Frederik Andersen made 15 stops for the Hurricanes, who are a perfect 8-0 in the postseason. Tyson Foerster and Alex Bump scored, and Dan Vladar finished with 37 saves for the Flyers.

Kirill Kaprizov had a goal and two assists to the power the Minnesota Wild to an impressive 5-1 victory over the Colorado Avalanche in Game 3 at Grand Casino Arena on Saturday. Kaprizov leads the league in postseason scoring with 14 points. Brock Faber also had a goal and two assists, Quinn Hughes had a goal and an assist, Ryan Hartman tallied, and Jesper Wallstedt made 35 saves in his return after Filip Gustavsson started Game 2.

Florida Panthers defenseman Mikulas Hovorka had an assist in Czechia’s 3-2 loss to Finland in Day 2 action from the Beijer Hockey Games in  Ängelholm, Sweden. Marek Alscher also suited up for the Czechs and was called for interference in the second period. Aleksnader Barkov and Anton Lundell did not play for Finland.

Panthers prospect Shea Busch collected an assist on the final goal and registered two shots as the Everett Silvertips defeated the Prince Albert Raiders 6-2 to even the WHL Championship at a game apiece. Busch had the secondary helper on Jesse Hislop’s power-play marker with one second remaining on the clock.
