Thursday Caterwaul: Florida Panthers Offseason Open Forum

Anthony Beauvillier took advantage of a Blake Coleman turnover and scored at 1:08 of overtime to lift the New York Islanders to 3-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 6 at Nassau Coliseum.

The Islanders trailed by two before getting goals from Jordan Eberle and Scott Mayfield to even the score.

Brayden Point scored for the ninth straight game and added a helper, and Anthony Cirelli also produced a goal and an assist for the Lightning, who were on the verge on advancing to the Stanley Cup Final before Mayfield got the equalizer with 8:44 left in regulation.

Semyon Varlamov stopped 22 of 24 shots for the Islanders, while Andrei Vasilevskiy finished with 25 saves for Tampa Bay.
