Tuesday Caterwaul: Florida Panthers Open Forum

The Florida Panthers and the rest of the NHL will be wearing more environmentally friendly jerseys this season. Adidas hockey formally begins its efforts to “End Plastic Waste” and reuse plastics with its introduction of ADIZERO Primegreen Authentic NHL jerseys for all 32 member teams. Made with an adidas’ innovation Primegreen: a series of high-performance materials containing a minimum of 50% recycled content, ADIZERO Primegreen Authentic NHL jerseys will make their on-ice debut on opening night of the 2021-22 season on Tuesday, October 12.

It will be the first time that all 32 NHL teams will take the ice wearing team jerseys made from recycled materials. Each team jersey will maintain its classic stripping and logo, while boasting dimensional embroidery that draws attention to their sustainable materials, and a two-layer twill that underscores the product’s authenticity.

This Fall, the ADIZERO Primegreen Authentic NHL jerseys will be available in all 32 team colorways at adidas.com, NHLShop.com, NHLShop.ca, the new NHL Shop flagship store in New York City and in official NHL team stores.
