Kris Letang notched the game-winning goal for the second straight game, and goaltender Arturs Silvos stopped 18 shots as the Pittsburgh Penguins staved off elimination again with a 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers in Game 5 at PPG Paints Arena. Elmer Soderblom and Connor Dewar also lit the lamp for the Penguins, who got two assists from superstar Sidney Crosby. Alex Bump and Travis Sanheim scored for the Flyers.
Shea Theodore scored with 52 second remaining in overtime, giving the Vegas Golden Knights a wild 5-4 victory over the Utah Mammoth in Game 4 at Delta Center to even the sereis at two games apiece. Vegas opened up a 3-0 lead on goals from Pavel Dorofeyev, Brett Howden and Cole Smith, only to see the Mammoth rally to take the lead before Howden’s second of the night evened the score midway through the third.
