Stanley Cup Gameday 6: Florida Panthers vs Edmonton Oilers

The Stanley Cup will be in the building when the Florida Panthers host the Edmonton Oilers tonight in Game 6 at Amerant Bank Arena. Los Gatos retook the series lead with an impressive 5-2 victory over the Oilers at Rogers Place on Saturday. Brad Marchand scored a pair of spectacular goals and Sam Bennett notched his league-leading 15th of the playoffs to spark the Panthers, who tied the NHL record for most road wins (10) in a single postseason. After Connor McDavid finally solved Sergei Bobrovsky for the first time in the series, Aleksander Barkov set up Sam Reinhart 46 seconds later for a key insurance marker. Corey Perry drew Edmonton within two again with a late 6-on-5 goal before Eetu Luostarinen’s empty-netter clinched it as the Panthers handed Calvin Pickard his first loss of the playoffs. Stuart Skinner will return to the crease as the Oilers try to extend their season and keep the Cats from claiming the crown for a second straight time on home ice.
