The Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning conclude a run of three straight games against each other with tonight’s preseason finale in Sunrise. On Thursday, the Bolts battered the Cats by a 5-2 count in an intense, penalty-filled affair at Benchmark International Arena. Eetu Luostarinen opened the scoring with a shorthanded goal and Seth Jones was the only other Panther who managed to solve Brandon Halverson. The Lightning dominated the majority of the tilt and got two goals from Jake Guentzel and one apiece from Brayden Point, Conor Geekie and Anthony Cirelli. Daniil Tarasov went the distance for Florida, finishing with 28 saves.
