Tonight, the Florida Panthers will play the first of three games this week against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The two teams will meet again at the BB&T Center on Thursday and then in Tampa at Amalie Arena on Saturday to finish off the preseason slate.
The training camp roster has been reduced to 29 players (17 forwards, 9 defensemen, 3 goalies), so we will see mostly regulars from here on out. Sergei Bobrovsky is expected to make his first start of the preseason.
Tampa Bay finally got RFA forward Brayden Point to sign on the line which is dotted, but he will be out until mid-to-late October as he recovers for hip surgery.
