Game Six GameDay: Florida Panthers vs Toronto Maple Leafs

With the Edmonton Oilers eliminating the Vegas Golden Knights on Wednesday, tonight’s Game 6 between the Florida Panthers and Toronto Maple Leafs at Amerant Bank Arena will get the full glare of the spotlight. Game 5 saw the Panthers trounce the Buds 6-1 at Scotiabank Arena, putting the Cats one win away from a third-straight trip to the Eastern Conference Final. Jesper Boqvist and A.J. Greer each collected their first career playoff goals in the rout, and defensemen Dmitry Kulikov and Niko Mikkola notched their first postseason markers as well. Aaron Ekblad opened the scoring and assisted on Sam Bennett’s power-play goal which put the Cats up by six. Sergei Bobrovsky was within a 1:06 of a second consecutive shutout before Nick Robertson finally beat him. Bobrovsky went a franchise playoff record 143:25 without allowing a goal.
