Pavel Dorofeyev roofed the rebound of Jack Eichel’s shot for his second goal of the game 4:10 into overtime to lift the Vegas Golden Knights to a 3-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks in Game 5 at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday. Tomas Hertl had a goal and an assist, and Carter Hart finished with 34 saves for Vegas, who took a three games to two lead in the series. Beckett Sennecke scored in his fourth straight game of the series, and Olen Zellweger tied it for the Ducks with 3:05 remaining in regulation.

Zach Benson notched the game-winning goal on the power play 4:41 into the third, and the Buffalo Sabres held on to edge the Montreal Canadiens 3-2 in Game 4 at Bell Centre. Tage Thompson had a goal and an assist, and Josh Doan had two assists for Buffalo, who evened the series at two games apiece. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 28 saves to get his second postseason win in his first start since April 21. Alex Newhook and Cole Caufield scored first period goals for Montreal.
