The NHL released all 32 home-openers for the upcoming 2026-27 season this morning and because of that, we now know the dates and opponents for five of the Florida Panthers games.
Florida will start the campaign with a visit to Lenovo Center in Raleigh on September 29 to take on the defending Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes to kick off an opening night tripleheader on ESPN.
After that they will head to California where they serve as the opponent for the home-openers of the San Jose Sharks (October 1), the Anaheim Ducks (October 4) and Los Angeles Kings (October 6).
The Cats will be last team in the league to play their home-opener. That will happen on October 10, when the Minnesota Wild pay a visit to Amerant Bank Arena.
The complete 2026-27 NHL regular season schedule will be announced on Thursday at 1 p.m. ET, with NHL Network airing a one-hour special edition of “NHL Tonight” hosted by Jamison Coyle, Mike Rupp and E.J. Hradek. The program will also stream on NHL.com.
