Four Panthers in action today at Worlds
It’s do or die time at the 2017 IIHF World Championship in Cologne and Paris. All four Florida Panthers participating in the tournament will be in action in today’s quarterfinal playoff round. Here is the schedule:
A1. USA (Nick Bjugstad) vs B4. Finland / Lanxess Arena - 10 am
A2. Russia vs B3. Czech Republic / AccorHotels Arena - 10 am
B1. Canada (Mike Mathson, Jason Demers) vs A4. Germany / Lanxess Arena - 2 pm
B2. Switzerland (Denis Malgin) vs A3. Sweden / AccorHotels Arena - 2 pm
In Stanley Cup playoff action, the Ottawa scored four times in the first period en route to a 5-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Senators took a two to one series lead with the one-sided win at Canadian Tire Centre.
Tonight, the Nashville Predators will host the Anaheim Ducks at Bridgestone Arena for Game 4 of the Western Conference final (NBCSN - 8 pm). The Predators lead the series two games to one.
