The Florida Panthers (5-3-1) continue their three-game run through the Empire State when they pay a visit to the New York Islanders (5-0-1) tonight at UBS Arena.

Opening the road trip at Madison Square Garden, Sergei Bobrovsky became the fastest goalie in NHL history to collect 400 wins, backstopping the Panthers to an impressive 3-1 win over the Rangers. Carter Verhaeghe notched his first goal of the season and Anton Lundell and Sam Bennett also lit the lamp for the Cats, who handed the Broadway Blueshirts their first regulation loss in 2024-25.

The Islanders will be playing the second half of a back-to-back. A short trip to Newark resulted in a 4-3 overtime win over the New Jersey Devils last night. Bo Horvat scored the game-winning goal 69 seconds into the extra session and Ilya Sorokin made 32 saves as New York, who has points in three straight games, moved back above NHL .500. Brock Nelson, Kyle Palmieri and Noah Dobson are tied for the team scoring lead with five points each.
