The Florida Panthers (12-5-1) will quickly conclude it season series with the Winnipeg Jets (15-3-0) when they open a two-game road trip at Canada Life Centre tonight.

After dropping back-to-back games against the New Jersey Devils, the Panthers delivered one of their best games of the campaign when they shut out the Jets 5-0 at Amerant Bank Arena. Aleksander Barkov scored shorthanded and added two assists; Sam Reinhart assisted on three goals; and Mackie Samoskevich, Nate Schmidt and Dmitry Kulikov each notched their third goal of the season. Sergei Bobrovsky made 27 saves to post his first shutout.

The Jets entered the Sunshine State winners of 15 out of 16 games and departed with their first losing streak after dropping a 4-1 decision to the Tampa Bay Lightning before they were blanked by the Cats. Florida limited Winnipeg to 27 shots on goal and handed them their first shutout loss since March 24, 2024, when they fell 3-0 to the Washington Capitals at Capital One Arena.
