Gameday 7: Florida Panthers vs Vegas Golden Knights

Graphic design: Francisco Oporta

The two combatants in the 2023 Stanley Cup Final meet this evening in Sunrise when the Florida Panthers (3-2-1) host the Vegas Golden Knights (3-2) at Amerant Bank Arena.

Florida fell 3-2 to the Vancouver Canucks in its last outing, but by getting to overtime the undermanned Cats extended its point-streak to three games. Jesper Boqvist notched his first goal as a Panther and Anton Lundell scored for third consecutive game in the loss.

After opening the season by winning three straight in Sin City, the Golden Knights have suffered back-to-back losses in Washington and Tampa Bay. They’ll be looking to end the three-game road trip with a win tonight. Jack Eichel is tied for third in the league in scoring with ten points, one behind league-leaders Artemi Panarin and Evgeni Malkin.
